UK mobile phone numbers

UK mobile numbers commonly begin with 07 and contain 11 digits in domestic format. When written internationally, the leading zero becomes +44. Enter either version to reach the same caller-report page.

What a mobile prefix tells you

A prefix can describe an original allocation, but people can keep a mobile number when moving between networks. It does not reliably identify the current operator or subscriber. Some 07 ranges serve personal numbering or paging rather than an ordinary mobile service.

Receiving an unexpected mobile call

A local-looking or familiar number can be spoofed. Read specific reports about what callers asked for, and verify an organisation through its official contact details. Never send money or reveal an account code just because the caller knows your name.
