Using Who’s Calling Me

This free service is operated by OK LETS GO LTD, company 17503740, at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Questions can be sent to support@whoscallingme.co.uk or our contact form. These terms cover Who’s Calling Me? at whoscallingme.co.uk and the Who’s Calling Me? iPhone and Android apps, including searches, reading reports and submitting content. Read these terms and the community guidelines before contributing. By submitting a report, you agree to those rules. Our privacy policy explains personal-data processing; agreement to these terms is not consent to optional advertising.

Using the mobile apps

The apps provide manual UK number lookup, community reports, advice links and recent searches stored on your device. They do not automatically identify or block incoming calls and do not access your contacts or call history. No public account is required. The service is free and may show banner ads; there are currently no paid downloads, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Your network provider’s normal data charges may apply. An advertisement is not an endorsement of its advertiser, and advertising does not buy favourable reports or removal of legitimate criticism.

You may use the apps for their intended purpose on compatible devices, subject to applicable app-store usage rules. For an App Store download, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a different licence is supplied with that download. Store terms govern distribution and do not make Apple or Google responsible for our caller reports or support. Contact us for app support using the details above.

Caller information has limits

Comments are contributors’ accounts of events. Community labels summarise report patterns; they are not verified findings of crime, a guarantee of safety or proof of who placed a call. Numbers can be spoofed, ported or reassigned. Use independently obtained contact details to verify an organisation, especially before acting on financial or security requests.

We aim to keep the service useful, but cannot promise that every report is accurate, complete or current, or that the service will always be available. Do not use a report as the sole basis for a serious decision about a person or business.

Submitting a report

No registration is required. Describe your own experience honestly and distinguish what happened from what you suspect. Objectionable content is prohibited: threats, bullying, harassment, hate speech or discriminatory abuse; sexual or pornographic content; child sexual abuse or exploitation; encouragement of violence, self-harm or illegal acts; scams, impersonation or deliberately false allegations; private addresses, personal contact details, financial information or other sensitive data; spam, advertisements or content you have no right to share. Reports about unwanted calls must describe the experience without repeating explicit material or identifying a private person. Do not coordinate reports or votes to manipulate an assessment.

Accepted reports publish immediately after automated checks. Those checks do not verify every statement. You remain responsible for your submission. Staff may subsequently remove, restrict or make limited edits to enforce the community guidelines, protect privacy or correct formatting. An edit must not invent or materially distort the contributor’s meaning.

Content rights

You retain rights you hold in your contribution and grant us a non-exclusive permission to store, display, format and moderate it to operate the service. Only provide content you are entitled to license this way. External imports require an appropriate reuse basis, with source and permission records retained privately for administration; public availability alone does not establish permission to copy a database or its comments.

Our original website content and branding belong to us or their respective rights holders. You may link to public pages. Do not imply endorsement, misrepresent copied data as your own first-hand reports, evade access controls or use the service to harass or identify private individuals.

Complaints and corrections

Use Report abuse for harmful content and Removal requests for a correction, restriction or removal review. Identify the number or report and explain the concern. We consider the evidence, accuracy, privacy impact and public usefulness; an unfavourable opinion is not automatically removed just because it is disputed. Ask for a further administrator review if you disagree with an outcome.

In the apps, Flag this report opens our abuse form with the report reference. Hide this report removes that individual entry from view on your device; it does not remove it for other people or block all contributions from its author. You can restore hidden reports in More. We assess reported violations, prioritise serious safety and privacy concerns and may remove content or restrict access. Do not use these channels for emergencies.

Availability and legal rights

We may limit traffic or suspend access to protect the service and its users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or takes away mandatory consumer rights. You can stop using the service at any time and uninstall the app. Local history controls and requests to delete personal information are explained in the privacy policy.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory protections and jurisdiction rights that apply to consumers where they live. Material changes will be dated here. If we introduce paid features or materially different processing, we will provide the relevant terms or privacy information before those features are used.
